A health system fit for the future: turning reform and legislation into local impact
Through reform, the government intends to simplify and streamline the NHS operating model, simultaneously empowering local leaders to deliver transformation with greater pace and precision by stripping away bureaucracy, and equipping the public with a digitally enabled system and the information they need to inform decisions about their care. Upcoming primary legislation provides an opportunity to accelerate reform and deliver key commitments within the 10 Year Health Plan. In this session, an expert panel will explore the government’s vision, the role of legislation, what the changes mean for the health and care sector, and how we can best prepare for implementation.
