Health in all policies, at all levels

Delivering on the prevention agenda requires coordinated action across every level of society. From national strategies to neighbourhood initiatives, leaders from all sectors are increasingly embedding health at the heart of policymaking. Place-based public service reform has created a range of opportunities for innovative partnerships with the NHS, driving better outcomes for communities. But we can make real progress on prevention by using the different levers of power available, across national, devolved and local government, the NHS, VCSE sector, business and with communities themselves. In this session, you will hear from leaders operating at multiple levels of England’s governance about the work they are doing to advance this agenda, the challenges and opportunities that exist, and the complementary levers available to us all that can make a difference.
