New approaches to mental health crisis care: learning from the mental health emergency departments

The 10 Year Health Plan set out an ambition for new mental health emergency departments to be established around the country to speed up access and provide more appropriate care, reduce hospital admissions and improve outcomes and experience. This session will provide a national policy update on the emerging models of the mental health emergency departments around England, as well as learnings and impact from Lincolnshire Partnership Trust, which is implementing the new model of care.
