Sexual safety at a regional scale: learnings from practice
The Once for London programme aims to tackle sexual safety through understanding the disproportionate impacts of sexism and sexual violence on different staff groups, build regional consistency to develop cultures of sexual safety at scale, and spread good practice. In this session, the NHS England London regional team will share the strategic positioning of this work, the research around it, the sexual safety communities of practice and training programmes that have been rolled out. Barking, Havering and Redbridge University Hospitals NHS Trust will also discuss its approach to tackling sexism and sexual violence and how the Once for London work has shaped and supported this. Insights and learnings will be shared from rolling out this work across such a large footprint, with opportunities for reflection and space for discussion with colleagues.
